Hi Damien,Yes — you can absolutely BBQ using just gas. Gas grills heat up quickly, let you control the temperature easily, and are convenient for fast, clean cooking. While they don’t naturally produce the smoky flavor of charcoal, many gas grills (including your Char-Broil hybrid) allow you to add wood chips if you want that smoky touch. You don’t need charcoal at all to grill delicious food.Thanks!

Hi, The gas bottle is stored inside the grill’s lower cabinet, behind the front doors, so it is not visible when the doors are closed. It can be easily accessed, connected, and disconnected through the cabinet doors when needed.

Hi, The Char-Broil Gas2Coal 2.0 440 is a hybrid grill, so it allows you to use both gas and charcoal, but not as two fully separate halves. The charcoal trays sit over the burners, and the gas is mainly used to ignite and support the charcoal. While you can create different heat zones and technically have gas and charcoal involved at the same time, it does not operate as a true split grill with one side purely gas and the other side purely charcoal with independent control.

Hi, The Char-Broil Gas2Coal 2.0 440 4-Burner Dual Fuel Gas & Charcoal BBQ Grill (model 140926) is delivered in one carton (Box 1 of 1) with packaged shipping dimensions of 114 cm (H) × 80.5 cm (L) × 52 cm (W) and a gross weight of 65 kg, giving a total carton volume of 0.477 m³ (477 litres). Assembly is required, and the barbecue is supplied with the necessary components and instructions for assembly.
