Hi, The indoor unit does not need to be mounted on an external wall. It can be installed on any suitable internal wall, provided the pipework, drainage and electrical connections can be routed through to the outdoor unit via an external wall.

Hi, The indoor unit does not have a fixed pipe side. It is designed so the pipework can be routed from the left-hand side or right-hand side (as well as rear or underside), depending on installation requirements. The installer will choose the most suitable exit point on site.

Hi,the Samsung AR12ART is a standard single-split air conditioning system, so it can only run one indoor unit from its outdoor unit, and it cannot be expanded to support a second indoor unit unless it is paired with a specific multi-split outdoor unit designed for that purpose.Thanks!

Hi, The outdoor unit is pre-charged with refrigerant. The indoor unit and pipework are not charged and must be vacuumed and commissioned by an F-Gas certified installer, who will then release the factory charge into the system.

Hi Anton,Yes, the Samsung AR12ART air conditioner can be controlled using the SmartThings mobile app, but only if your specific unit has built-in Wi-Fi. If it does not have Wi-Fi, it can’t connect to the app directly and would only work with the standard remote unless you use a separate smart IR controller.Thanks!
