The Details
This powerful 3-in-1 air cooler is perfect for any time of year. Not only does it keep you cool when it starts to heat up outside, but it also functions as an antibacterial air purifier to improve the air quality in your home. The Arctic55ER cooler can also be used as a humidifier to help combat the dry air that can have a negative effect on those with respiratory conditions and allergies.
Unlike traditional air conditioners, the Arctic55ER does not require venting or permanent installation, making it a cost-effective cooling option. It's ideal for rooms up to 80 sqm, offering easy operation with multiple functions, including three fan speeds, a humidifier mode, and an oscillation setting.
As well as being simple to set up, the cooler is simple to use. The digital control panel gives you quick and easy operation of the multiple functions including the three fan speeds, breeze, sleep and swing modes. There's also a handy timer setting that can be used to automatically switch on or off after a set amount of time up to 12 hours, so you can have it run throughout the night and not have to wake up to switch it off. You can even take control of the cooler using the remote control that comes supplied.

How does it work?
Evaporative air coolers use the natural process of evaporation to lower the temperature. As water turns into vapour, it absorbs heat from the air around it, creating a noticeable cooling effect.
Inside the unit, air is drawn through a honeycomb cooling pad. This pad increases the surface area for evaporation, improving performance while also acting as an air filter.
Air coolers vs air conditioners – what’s the difference?
Air coolers and air conditioners work in very different ways. Air conditioners rely on refrigerants and compressors to cool and dehumidify, and they perform best in a sealed room. Air coolers, on the other hand, thrive in spaces with good airflow, using water to create a gentle, refreshing breeze.
To keep an air cooler working effectively, the room needs proper ventilation. Without fresh air coming in, humidity levels rise and the cooling effect drops.
Getting the most from your air cooler
For the best results, position your air cooler near an open window or doorway. This helps maintain a steady flow of air for more effective cooling. It’s also worth giving the cooling pad a regular clean to keep the performance consistent.
