Question from Stephan: Asked on 10/06/2026 Can this appliance be fitted within an existing undercounter 600mm space, between kitchen units without any side ventilation at all ie do the sides get warm requiring ventilation ?
Hi, The CDA CFWC624SS is an under-counter freestanding wine cooler, but it is not a fully integrated, zero-ventilation appliance. It requires adequate airflow around the unit to operate correctly, as the cooling system generates heat that needs to dissipate. For this reason, it should not be installed as a completely sealed fit within a 600mm cabinet with no side or rear ventilation. It can be placed under a worktop, but there must be sufficient ventilation space to allow heat to escape and ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Thank you.
Question from Wendy: Asked on 12/04/2026 What is the decibel?
Hi Wendy,The CDA CFWC624SS wine cooler has a noise level of 40 decibels, which is about as quiet as a library or a calm room, meaning it produces a soft background hum that is generally unobtrusive in a kitchen or utility space. Thanks!
