F-Gas Installation Required To ensure safe and optimal performance, this unit must be installed by a fully qualified F-Gas AC engineer. These units contain a regulated gas which must be handled by certified personnel in accordance with F-Gas regulations. Please ensure your fitter reads the user manual in full prior to installation.
Energy Saving & Variable Cooling In order to reduce the Global Warming Potential and provide extra energy savings, our outdoor units have a footprint rating lower than the sum of the indoor units' BTU. Please note this will not affect the cooling or heating in individual rooms, as these units are variable cooling inverters. Hi, The outdoor unit measures approximately 717 × 495 × 230 mm (W × H × D). Installation requires sufficient clearance around the unit to ensure proper airflow and servicing access. As a general guide from LG installation practice, allow space around all sides of the unit, with additional clearance at the front for airflow discharge and at least 300 mm above. Exact spacing should always follow the installation manual and installer assessment based on the site conditions.

Hi Bernie,You can do some basic preparation work like mounting the indoor unit and drilling the wall hole, but you cannot legally or practically fully install the LG split air conditioner yourself in the UK because the refrigerant connection and commissioning must be carried out by an F-Gas certified engineer.Thanks!
