Important: Pipe Kit Required Please note that a standard 12K Pipe Kit is essential for the installation of this unit, but it is sold separately. Ensure you have purchased the correct piping kit before booking your installation engineer. Maximum allowed refrigerant pipe length is 25m.
F-Gas Installation Required To ensure safe and optimal performance, this air conditioner must be installed by a fully qualified F-Gas AC engineer. These units contain a regulated R32 gas which must be handled by certified personnel in accordance with F-Gas regulations. Please ensure your fitter reads the user manual in full prior to installation.

Hi Mark,The indoor unit includes the wall mounting plate needed for installation. However, the outdoor condenser wall bracket is not supplied and will need to be purchased separately if you plan to mount the unit on a wall. Alternatively, the outdoor unit can be installed on a suitable ground stand or base.Thanks!

Hi, yes, this is a split system and requires both an indoor wall-mounted unit and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit must be installed outside the property and connected to the indoor unit by pipework. Installation must be completed by a qualified F-Gas engineer, as the unit contains R32 refrigerant.

If doors are left open, some air may reach nearby areas, but performance will depend on the layout and size of the space.

Hi, The TCL TAC12CH does not require a mains water supply. It uses refrigerant pipework between the indoor and outdoor units, and any condensation produced during operation is removed through a small condensate drain hose/pipe installed as part of the air conditioning installation. This is not connected to your plumbing system.
