The details
This impressive model holds up to 16 bags of food and comes with a handy storage basket, perfect for keeping everything organised. The counterbalanced lid stays in place when opened so you can easily and safely access your food using both hands. It comes with an adaptable thermostat, so you can transform it from a freezer to a fridge, making it ideal for storing drinks for garden parties or events. Plus, it works in sub-zero environments, so you can use it in unheated areas like a garage or outbuilding, helping free up space in your kitchen. If that wasn’t enough, it features a flame-retardant metal back for added peace of mind.

Hi,The electriQ 299 Litre Chest Freezer (model eiQCHEST300) has an estimated annual energy consumption of approximately 268?kWh.Thanks!
Question from Sarah Kearney: Asked on 07/11/2025 Does my eiqchest300 electriq chest freezer need defrosting and cleaning yearly? Am using for domestic use
Hi Sarah, yes, this is a manual-defrost freezer, so it should be defrosted and cleaned at least once a year for optimal performance and hygiene. However, if you notice excess frost build-up or spills, it is best to clean and defrost it sooner. Thank you.
