Hi, Yes, the Hotpoint 60?cm Dual Fuel Cooker (HDD6GDC2B1) requires an electrical connection, because while the hob runs on gas, the oven and grill are electric. It must be hard-wired by a qualified electrician; it cannot operate on gas alone.
