This CDA gas-on-glass hob combines the traditional convenience and precision of gas fuel with the easy-to-clean and modern appearance of a black glass hob surface. With a variety of burners and power levels, you can have precise control over each dish you prepare, helping you to achieve great cooking results each time. With a stylish and glossy black design, this hob will become an eye-catching focal point in the kitchen. The addition of slim control dials gives the hob a smart and subtle appearance that will complement other kitchen appliances.
The cast iron pan supports provided are not just a unique and eye-catching feature. The linked-up design will provide extra support and solidarity for your pans whilst they are on the hob, which is particularly useful when you are cooking with slightly larger cookware for bigger meals. The control dials are situated at the front of the hob so that you can easily control and adjust the temperature of each burner without having to reach over hot saucepans to do it. The ignition is automatic, so you don't have to get your fingers near the flame whilst you are igniting it, and the flame failure safety device will cut off the supply should the flame go out during use.
With 4 burners and 3 different sizes and powers, this hob gives you the flexibility to use different sizes of cookware to accommodate different meals. It also gives you more control over the amount of heat you want to go to those dishes during cooking.

Question from Ann Lawson: Asked on 21/01/2026 hi i am wanting a gas hob it states you need to hard wire the power for the ignition would this be ok to place a plug on it as my old one had a plug
Hi Ann,You should not fit a standard plug to the CDA HVG621BL gas hob. Although your old hob had a plug, this model is designed to be hard-wired to a dedicated fused spur for the ignition. Connecting it via a normal plug could void the warranty, breach safety regulations, and be unsafe. The correct approach is to have a qualified electrician hard-wire it and a Gas Safe engineer handle the gas connection. Thanks!
Question from mark WADELEY: Asked on 13/09/2025 Which corner is the gas inlet
Hi Mark,The CDA HVG621BL gas hob features a standard burner layout designed for versatile cooking. The strongest burner, a 3 kW rapid burner, is positioned in the front left corner. The other burners include a 1 kW auxiliary burner in the front right and two 1.75 kW semi-rapid burners in the rear left and rear right, providing a balance of high and low heat options for various cooking needs. Thanks!
