Important Installation Note
All portable air conditioners must be vented through a wall or window to remove heat from the room. This unit includes a hose and a window venting kit designed for sliding or sash windows. A fishtail adapter is also provided, which can be used with most other window or door types to keep the opening as small as possible during use.

Hi Peter,Yes, the exhaust hose can be vented through a window, and the electriQ P15CW also has an internal water tank that collects condensation, although in cooling mode most of the moisture is automatically evaporated so it rarely needs emptying.Thanks!
