Hi, the 1/4" and 3/8" pipes are both required for the air conditioning system and are not interchangeable options. The smaller 1/4" pipe is used for the liquid line and the larger 3/8" pipe is used for the gas/suction line. Using the correct pipe sizes is important for the unit to operate efficiently and correctly. This kit includes both sizes required for compatible 9000 and 12000 BTU electriQ air conditioners.

Hi, The electriQ PIPEKIT12K-5M is a pre-insulated copper pipe set only and contains no refrigerant, as the gas is already sealed in the air conditioning system and handled during installation by an F-Gas engineer. It connects directly to the indoor and outdoor units using standard flare fittings, so no extra connector is required. If pipe runs exceed the system’s pre-charged allowance, any additional refrigerant must be added by the installer.

Hi, The ElectriQ 5?m pipe kit is just the copper line set — it does not come pre-loaded with refrigerant. Refrigerant is only in the actual air conditioning system and must be charged by a qualified fitter during installation.
