Product Description

The electriQ CD30LE is a low-energy compressor dehumidifier designed to tackle everyday moisture problems in British homes, including condensation, indoor laundry drying and excess humidity in kitchens and bathrooms. It can extract up to 30 litres of moisture per day under rated conditions and maintain your chosen humidity level between 35% and 80% RH.

As a compressor dehumidifier, it performs best in temperatures above approximately 15°C, making it ideal for occupied living spaces.

Smart Mode

The default and recommended everyday setting. The unit targets 55% RH and automatically adjusts fan speed according to room humidity levels, ensuring the compressor only operates when moisture removal is required.

Dehumidify Mode

Provides manual control of both humidity and fan speed. Humidity can be adjusted from 35% to 80% RH in 5% increments. Recommended settings are 50-55% RH for everyday use, 60% RH where lower humidity feels uncomfortable, and 70% RH for unoccupied properties. Selecting 35% RH enables continuous operation until the tank is full.

Laundry Mode

Runs continuously at Turbo fan speed with a 35% RH target for maximum moisture extraction and faster clothes drying. For best results, keep laundry within 1.5m of the unit, at least 40cm from the air outlet.

Air Purifier Mode

Fan-only operation without dehumidification. Compatible with optional HEPA filtration for cleaner air circulation throughout the home.

Humidity & Temperature Display

The front display shows room humidity by default and can be switched between humidity and temperature readings using the RH%/°C button. A colour humidity indicator light shows red above 70% RH, orange between 60-70% RH and green below 60% RH.

Sleep Mode

Press and hold the Sleep button for 3 seconds to dim all indicators except the Sleep light and automatically switch to low fan speed. Ideal for bedrooms and children's rooms.

Swing Function

Adjustable louvres can either sweep automatically between 45° and 90° or be fixed in position for targeted airflow.

Wi-Fi & App Control

Connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and works with the free Tuya Smart app for iOS and Android. Remotely power the unit on or off, change modes, adjust humidity and fan speed, manage timers, control the humidity light and monitor room conditions. Smart Scenes and Automations can also be created based on schedules, humidity levels or local weather conditions.

Timer & Child Lock

Features a 24-hour start and stop timer with 1-hour increments. The control panel can be locked by holding the Lock button for 3 seconds.

Auto Restart

Automatically resumes operation using the previous settings after a power cut, once the built-in 3-minute compressor protection period has elapsed.

Drainage Options

Choose between the integrated 5L splash-proof water tank with tank-full alarm and auto-stop, or continuous gravity drainage using a 10mm internal diameter hose (not supplied). The maximum hose run is 1 metre with a continuous downward fall; longer runs or upward drainage require a condensate pump. The tank must remain fitted even when using continuous drainage.

Optional Filtration

Optional HEPA (FIL-CDLEHEPAGM) and activated carbon (FIL-CDLECGM) filters are available separately and fit into the rear filter housing. A washable mesh pre-filter is supplied as standard and must always remain fitted during operation.
