The electriQ Premium 12L Low-Energy Quiet Laundry Dehumidifier – CD12LE-V4 is engineered specifically for British homes. Ideal for flats, houses up to 3 bedrooms, and single damp rooms, this compressor unit extracts up to 12 litres a day and automatically holds humidity from 35-80% RH.
Equipped with Smart Mode, Laundry Mode, Sleep Mode, and a 5-litre tank, it offers fantastic performance with exceptionally low running costs—costing only about 5.0p an hour to run thanks to its maximum 190 Watt power consumption.
Efficient Performance
Up to 40% more efficient than standard dehumidifiers. Smart Mode targets 50-55% RH and matches the fan speed to the humidity, ensuring the compressor cycles only when needed to save energy.
Laundry Mode
Runs flat out at Turbo with a 35% RH target to dry clothes indoors for a fraction of the cost of a tumble dryer (roughly 20p for a 4-hour load). Keep clothes at least 40cm from the unit, with best results within 1.5m.
Breathe a Sigh of Relief
Features an advanced air purifier function (fan-only). It comes with a washable mesh pre-filter, and you can add optional Active Carbon and HEPA filters (sold separately) to remove allergens and odours.
Humidity Indicator
The accurate digital humidistat allows adjustments from 35 to 80% RH in 5% steps. A front colour LED light instantly tells you the room's status: red for over 70%, orange for 60-70%, and green when below 60%.
Sleep Mode
Perfect for using at night, this mode dims the backlight LCD display and operates quietly, ensuring an undisturbed sleep with a maximum noise level of just 41 dB(A) during quiet operation.
Portable & Practical
Fitted with castors and a sturdy carry handle for improved mobility between rooms. Includes a 1-24 hour start/stop timer so you can easily schedule operations around work, sleep, or off-peak electricity hours.
Two ways to empty it
The 5 litre antibacterial splash-proof tank prevents mould growth and easily slides out for emptying. The large capacity means fewer trips to the sink.
Continuous drainage
An optional drainage hose (10mm internal diameter, 1m length – sold separately) can be connected to the back. Water runs straight into a sink or drain, meaning the unit never has to stop for a full tank—perfect for heavy condensation or unmonitored damp spaces.

Question from Donna: Asked on 12/01/2026 How do you select dehumdify mode as not sure which light represents this option as don't want to select air purifier mode in error. Also what humidity should you set and what are the numbers on the front and what do they mean. What ioniser function do you select? The manual doesn't really help ??
Hi, For moisture removal, set the dehumidifier to HIGH or LOW mode—avoid FAN mode, as that only circulates air. You can set the target humidity depending on your goal: 50–55% for everyday use, 45–50% for drier air, or 35–45% for drying laundry. The ioniser/UV function improves air quality but does not remove moisture, so it’s optional.

Hi Mike, when the humidity of the room is 2% lower than the desired humidity, the compressor will turn off automatically, but the fan will continue to operate to ensure that the air within the room is not stale. The unit will use only a minimal amount of energy in fan mode. Thank you.

The air purification is very effective, it comes with a HEPA filter that works to remove 99.97% of airborne particles such as dust, pollen, mold and bacteria. The UV light and ioniser add an extra layer of filtration.
