Question from Chris: Asked on 25/02/2026 Hello, I have a few questions:
- What is the distance between the front and rear feet?
- What is the brass connector on the side of the front panel for?
- Where is the gas connection sited?
- What is the distance from the base of the unit to the lid so that if it were set in to a structure the lid would still be able to open fully.

Thanks!

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 25/02/2026

Hi, The Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT4BBLACK) has a body depth of approximately 505?mm, which can be used as a guide for front-to-rear foot spacing, as the exact measurement is not specified in the manufacturer’s manual. The brass connector on the front panel is for the optional sink/tap system and is not part of the gas supply. The gas connection is located at the rear or underside of the BBQ, and the gas cylinder must remain outside the unit, connected using a suitable low-pressure regulator and a flexible hose no longer than 1.5?m. The BBQ’s height with the lid closed is approximately 470–480?mm, and to ensure the lid can open fully in a built-in installation, at least 30–40?cm of additional clearance above the unit should be provided, resulting in a total minimum height of 800–900?mm from the base, all according to the manufacturer’s assembly instructions and technical specifications.

Thank you.

Question from Damian Morriss: Asked on 15/02/2026 Hi, I am looking at buying this barbecue. I was just wondering what would be the depth needed if it was being built into a counter so the cooking area is in line with the worktop thanks

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 16/02/2026

Hi Damian,If you’re planning to build the Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT4BBLACK) into a counter so the cooking surface is flush with the worktop, you’ll need a cut-out depth of at least 52?cm to accommodate the body of the grill comfortably, while also allowing space behind for the gas connection and proper ventilation. Thanks!

Question from Chris: Asked on 30/12/2025 What type of gas bottle does this BBQ require?

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 07/01/2026

Hi Chris,The Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT4BBLACK) uses liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), typically supplied from a 13?kg propane cylinder. It requires a low-pressure LPG regulator and hose compatible with the bottle, and propane is generally preferred over butane, especially in colder weather, for consistent performance. Thanks!
