Viruses such as corona and influenza are effectively eliminated in Eco 50°C, tested by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (Level 1 Hygiene label). Significantly higher levels of hygiene can be reached with higher temperature programmes, as they are effective against more resilient viruses, including enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. This was confirmed for Intensive 70°C and Machine Care maintenance cycle (Level 3 Hygiene label).
