Question from Margaret: Asked on 19/05/2026 How to place inner back in to use pressure
Hi, To use your Instant Pot for pressure cooking, place the stainless steel inner pot flat into the base, fit the lid with the sealing ring correctly installed, lock it securely, and set the steam release valve to “Sealing”. The appliance will only build pressure when the lid is properly sealed and the valve is closed, as the inner pot simply sits in the base and does not lock or create the pressure seal.
Thank you..
