Add up to 29L a day of dehumidification and a three-speed fan with auto-swing louvres, and one compact, wheel-mounted unit covers every season. Powered by eco-friendly R290 refrigerant for efficient, low-impact performance with no fixed installation. Suitable for Home · Office · Conservatory. Ideal for living rooms, open-plan spaces and larger bedrooms up to around 30 sqm.
Strong Cooling & Heat Pump Warmth
Built for bigger spaces: 12,000 BTU of cooling clears the heat quickly on the hottest days, while the integrated heat pump provides 8,800 BTU of efficient warmth in cooler months. Electronic controls, an LED display and a remote handset put every mode at your fingertips.
3-Speed Fan with Auto-Swing Louvres
A three-speed fan and automatic louvre movement spread conditioned air evenly across the room, with 400 m³/h of airflow for rapid, even cool-down.
Doubles as a Dehumidifier
In dehumidifier mode the PAC1218 removes up to 29 litres of moisture per day - excellent for damp, condensation and mould, and for speeding up laundry drying.
Self-Evaporating Design
The automatic water-evaporation system reuses collected moisture to cool the condenser in cooling mode, cutting down on manual tank emptying.
Quiet, Clean & Easy to Live With
A 56 dB sound-pressure level keeps things comfortable, while the removable, washable dust filter keeps air clean and rinses for reuse. A 1–24 hour timer, sleep mode and auto-restart make day-to-day use effortless, and castor wheels with a supplied 1.5m hose and window kit make setup simple in any room.

Question from Ian: Asked on 18/07/2026 How easy is it to empty the water tank? Thanks
Hi, The PAC1218 is easy to drain when required. During normal cooling use, the self-evaporating system helps reduce the need to empty the water tank frequently. If the tank does become full, the unit will indicate that it needs draining; simply switch it off, unplug it, place a container under the rear drain outlet, remove the drain plug and allow the water to empty before replacing it securely.
Thank you.

Question from Zaheer: Asked on 08/07/2026 Does this require outside venting for cooling
Hi, Yes, the PAC1218 requires outside venting when used in cooling mode. The exhaust hose must be connected to the unit and vented outside, typically through a window using the supplied window sealing kit, so that the warm air removed from the room can be expelled. Without external venting, the cooling performance will be reduced.
Thank you.
