Installation & Technical Advice
Important: Pipe & Cable Kit Required Please note that a standard Pipe & Cable Kit (1/4" + 3/8" connections) is essential for the installation of this unit, but it is not included in the box. You will need to order the correct kit for your required run length (up to a maximum of 10m) from the Recommended Accessories section before booking your installation engineer.
F-Gas Installation Required To ensure safe and optimal performance, this air conditioner must be installed and commissioned by a fully qualified F-Gas AC engineer. These units contain R32 fluorinated greenhouse gas which must be handled by certified personnel in accordance with F-Gas regulations. Please note that the 2-year warranty is subject to proper commissioning by a qualified engineer.

Efficient, Quiet and Long-Lasting
A Toshiba DC inverter compressor continuously adjusts its speed rather than switching fully on and off, allowing the Sumato to reach the desired temperature faster, operate more quietly and use less energy than fixed-speed air conditioners. Rated A++/A+ (SEER 6.10 / SCOP 4.00, UK climate), it delivers excellent year-round efficiency.
Toshiba’s Magic Coil treatment helps keep the indoor coil clean by preventing dust and dirt from sticking to it. Once the unit is switched off, the self-clean cycle dries the coil to help prevent mould, damp and musty odours.
Comfort and Control on Your Terms
Choose High Power mode for rapid cooling or heating, or use 8°C Heating mode to help protect your home from frost while you are away during winter. On particularly cold days, the on-demand defrost function clears the outdoor unit to maintain reliable performance.
Installation & What to Order
The indoor and outdoor units are pre-gassed and sealed for straightforward installation by a qualified fitter. A pipe kit is required but not included. This model uses 1/4" + 3/8" connections (liquid + gas), so be sure to add the correct copper pipe and cable kit for your required run length (up to 10m) from the Recommended Accessories section.
F-Gas Notice
This unit contains fluorinated greenhouse gas (R32, GWP 675) and must be installed by an F-Gas qualified air conditioning engineer. Refrigerant handling must be carried out by qualified F-Gas personnel. Warranty is subject to commissioning by a qualified F-Gas engineer.
